This week has been a very different one. We took a trip away for 2 nights to the island of Samos. There will be a selection of posts this week about the trip.
Starting with my Sunday photo:
We took a drive around the island on Thursday and came across the village of Vourliotes. We parked the car and had no idea what to expect as we wandered down an alleyway.
We discovered a village of steep lanes and alleys, steps and colourful walls. Looking for somewhere for lunch we passed a group of tavernas then found this one further on in a narrow alley.
With local home-cooked Greek food and a view I just had to photograph. There’s been no editing or filters added, simply taken with my iPhone 6 from my seat at lunch.
We’re still waiting for decisions to be made by Europe and I’ve got a feeling that we’ll be waiting a very long time before things finally settle down again.
Greece has lots of beautiful places to sit and wait. What does your favourite spot look like?
